Episode 12a:  Hurl, Interrupted

Dairy Land is used a plot device again,  this time with Lynn and her friends: Paula, Maddie, and Margo and they've won a free trip to Dairy Land. Lynn has a fear of riding this one ghoster because she has a fear of uhhh hurling. (That's the plot?)  She goes to Clyde for advice and he tells her that she should tell her friends this fear. (yes, but if she  does, how do we fill the other 9 minutes?)  Paula decides to tell the group that big coasters scare her, this is for the plot where Lynn was going to say something but we have  7.5 minutes left to go so can't have that, and Maddie and Margo make fun of Paula before Lynn says anything and yeah.

Lynn decides to stall instead, That's most of this episode, Lynn's long attempts to stall from going to the coaster.     Finally, there's Ursula the angriest cow in Michigan as Lynn decides to unleash a dangerous animal to make sure the park has to close. But of course, a guy in a cow costume tells them that the ride was closing after this day, and Lynn sees that her friends were sad, so decdies to find the cow and moove her back, by being Lynn.

The friends are happy and Lynn finally admits that she's afraid of throwing up. The friends say they aren't , and they apologize to Paula for earlier.  Lynn finds out from her eating and drinking and riding that cow, she throws up and finds out it's not that bad (wait huh?) and decides to take a ride while, Paula finds a boy to talk with for entertainment.

I'm taking off a 1/2 point for vomit, because that's the rules, but otherwise, it's not a bad episode.  The plot had to find something that made sense for Lynn's fear fitting in her character compared to the idea that she might be afraid of heights or fast things wouldn't make sense.  The episode is fairly a basic plot and basic moral , it's not much else being added to it. That doesn't mean it's bad, it's worth watching, so do. It gives a good look at Lynn's time. I  give it 7/10.

Episode 12b : Diamonds Are For Never

In this episode we don't have James Bond, not even a James Bond reference. Maybe they are saving that for a "License to Kill" parody (Hey do you have your killing  loisense , sir?)    The episode starts with Lincoln doing a magic act because that's his thing now or something. (Does Lincoln make diamonds?)  Now to the untrained eye, you may think this has nothing to do with the plot. and that's why it's the untrained eye. (You just got to train your eyes)  Lola is bored and sees Mr. Grouse doing something more interesting to her eyes. (Ding) Lynn says a line that to the untrained ears might think she's just saying words, but in fact, these words are power. (Knowledge is power)

Mr. Grouse has a "treasure detector" because there's a precious metals and stones show coming to town. (Like Santa) Lola wants to help him but nah, so he has to go it alone.  Now the episode becomes a long montage of Mr. Grouse versus Lola, and still no diamonds. This episode takes forever to diamond. (It really is Diamonds are for Never)

About half way through the episode. they finally find a diamond. (Geeze)  These two decide to share a diamond they find , thanks to Flip's help.   Now it descends into these two going back and forth into madness over a diamond. (The true moral is money is corruption)   Lola finds a special box to put the diamond and Mr. Grouse locks it up and they both watch the diamond until they fall asleep, and in the morning, the diamond is gone.

Now the episode goes into these two fighting and destroying each others homes. The plot twist comes up when Lincoln shows up  and it was one of his boxes that has a false and diamond somehow got in there even though it stayed visible until they went to sleep. Anyway Lola and Mr. Grouse split the money. but Lynn Sr. takes Grouse's cut because of house damage, and Lola gives Grouse her cut to fix his house and they get ice cream together.

It was interesting to see Mr. Grouse and Lola bond together, I think the thing that interested me alot was how Lincoln's part was more than just filler to get the episode to be 11 minutes. I mean really that was a nice touch, even if it's still confusing on how the diamond would do just go down after hours of being still but alright.   The episode sure takes some time to get to the diamond part.  A lot of this episode is these two just going around competing with each other then fighting and destroying stuff, which is a bold choice.  The Lisa part with Lilly was funny as well. It's alright episode, a fun ride at least.  I give it 7/10.
