The Loud House Nickelodeon

Previously : Lincoln and Ronnie Anne have a baby see the exclusive blog post ( Now I feel dirty for posting it like this, this  a dark day)  Read that here

    Now to episode 11

    Episode 11a : Pulp Friction

This is going to be more a gushing on an episode post , than normal, so be warned.

The episode starts with did we put the wrong tape in? (We use tape?) It starts with Lincoln and Clyde dressed as Ace Savvy and One-eyed Jack typed up chains over a shark tank. (So, this is the series finale, great way to end the series!)  There's a guy that looks like the principal from before. Wait, no Lincoln's sisters are in costumes too and have super hero names. (We did put the wrong tape in, after all) They all defeat the villain and we find out that is a comic that Lincoln and Clyde wrote.(So, this was the right thing, after all)   It's part of a contest where if they win it becomes a real comic and they get to meet the creator of Ace Savvy.

The principle, you might remember him from Frog Wild, unless you are reading these blog posts out of order then,I admire that.  He decides to take the comic because reasons. No really, he just takes it for no reason.  He gives them detention, also because reasons.  Lincoln and Clyde strive to get it back. (He also locks the door and seals the window, now I'm calling the fire department to arrest this man)  Lola and Lana break Lincoln out.

This episode's great appeal is seeing each sister work on helping in getting to the goal. Each sister uses there character traits to get things done. It's amazing work of an episode just because of that.  The episode becomes a car chase as they try to out chase a golf cart. (What?)  Also, don't mess with Scoots.  The van breaks down just at the plot convenient time left. Leni had a good idea and they  make it to the post office.

Principal Huggins is also there because he wanted to submit to his comic to the contest as well. (Also, his name is Wilbur)  That's the reason he took the comic.(What?) In the past Huggins didn't have friends but the comics meant a lot to him. He admits that he went too far. Lincoln decides to fix things a little.  The Principal  uses his powers to get the comic able to be mailed and there's a new ending for the comic book!

Now they meet the creator of the comic and Huggins meets him too.   (wonderful ending)

This is a good episode. The suspense and tension are great really makes you wonder how they will make it, will they make it? Everything about this episode is an enjoyment. If you want to see the Louds all working together instead of against, it has it. It works maybe because they have  common antagonist this episode.  Lincoln's line about his sisters having his back, comes to play and comes to play in great detail.

The principal really did have a flimsy reason when he took the comic and finding out that he did it because he didn't want lose was kind of silly but, seeing his backstory gives it some variance, though he still shouldn't have done it.  This is a really strong Loud House episode, I give it 10/10 , I think it's one of my season 2 favorites.

Episode 11b : Pets Peeved

So, an episode focused on the pets of the Loud House, in a way.  There is some creativity focusing on the pets point of view compared to the people. The plot is  more a standard someone gets jealous when someone new around and gets all the attention plot. That doesn't mean using a standard plot makes the episode bad , standard plots exist to be used. It's how you do the plot that makes an episode work or not.

The start of the episode is creative with showing the things at the animals' eye level. (Bird not flying. They show the Loud kids without their faces and playing with their pets.  When Lana brings a really tiny dog into the house and everyone really takes a liking to him.  (-0.2pts for the head vs butt part of the dog thing)

Apparently the Loud animals are more sentient than we though. (I'm tapping out someone else take over)   They arrange ways to get this new dog kicked out of the house, by framing him! It backfires for them each time (because the Loud House) (Minus -0.2 pts for making me hear the words liverwurst shrimp hot mayo casserole, sorry to those he might queasy reading that)  When these plans fail the pets decide to have have the new dog taken out. (To the Pound!)

Then they turn on the TV and get a plot convenient commercial. (First off, I will add 0.1 pts for the little jokes of Charles the dog having his weird lovin' picutre there. (Yeah we need a safe term) Snoopy appears?  While having a Peanuts reference usually might bump the points, they put him a pound so, maybe, it might not be Snoopy but for making think it is Snoopy and putting him in the pound minus 0.1 pts)  The commercial makes them come together and save this little dog.

They all get captured, but they break out. We get an entertaining  action sequence (they crash a van though, because property damage is justified)  It's fun to see that it's the little dog who saves them from the lady.  Meanwhile, the Loud kids are sad the pets are gone but, all is well.
Snoopy no!!! Free him!!!!!

Meanwhile:  Excuse me, (Yes) I don't think we can have two dogs for the Loud family, we have one of each to settle each demographic. (Ah, yes you are right and we might offend people if we have two dogs and only 1 cat, and promoting  a dog agenda.) So, you know what do right? (yep kill the dog)  What ? hold on wait.

A little girl comes over and it's her dog , so she she gets to take him home. (She was going door to door to look him, the Louds didn't up posters to find the dog? Rude.) The dog , named Watterson, gives one last good bye to the Loud pets showing how much they've grown together.

This  is a fun episode, it does a good job with plot and does enough to keep it entertaining. The pets having a big focus was an interesting direction to take. I have nothing else really, so take look at this episode. I give it 8.4/10.
