Episode 10a: Fed Up
The episode starts by lying to me. Awful episode 0/10. Next episode. Alright, we need to calm down a little. Lincoln's talking to us again (I feel spoiled). Lincoln can change freeze time, and they didn't want draw different foods so, they use stock photos. Lincoln explains that his father cooks the same foods each day. (No taco Tuesday? this is not a real family) The Loud family is bored with the food.
Lincoln gets an idea, after seeing something almost happen to the food, he gets his sisters as part of the plan to destroy dinner so, they can get a pizza. So, their plan is mess up dinner. The first part of the plan failed. (Lisa is right, should have just chloroformed him, what?) Lana thought ahead and messed up the van so, he can't get more food at the store. Lynn Sr. decides that his next plan is to make Friday's dinner on Thursday. (What the heck, man?)
Wait, previously on this episode,Lincoln says that on Fridays they have Fish Fry Fridays, but then Lynn Sr. is doing Franks N Beans, so I've been lied to again, 0/10 episode. (We're doing that joke again ,huh?) I do admire the father's tenacity to keep on trying when everything goes wrong. Of course, his plan is to make Frank's and lima beans.(gross) Also uses the family hamster to open a can because is an episode of "The Flinstones" now. (He's going to get attacked by PETA)
The Loud kids continue their work to stop him, it's fun seeing them work together. Lilly commits attempted murder on her father and they get pizza. That was too easy, There's like a whole 5 minutes left, so.... Lynn Sr. figures out what happens with dinner. The kids tell him that eating the same dinners each week was bothering them. Rita says its hard to plan meals for the large family on a budget. (Now, that doesn't mean they have to do the same dang food each week on the same day, though, like two of these meals involve hot dogs, what heck man, but I'm just an idiot so... )
There's a second part of this plot, because now Lincoln gets an idea to have the kids make dinner. Guess what the kids, do now. They can't agree on what to make because, of course. Then they do a pot luck and mess up the kitchen, because that happens. They end up making a really nasty meal. The father figures out it out something different to make. So yes the episode ends with Lynn Sr. deciding that he's going to expand the menu, and then getting killed because Lana forgot to the put break pads back on the car.
This is a fine episode, it brings the Louds together to work for a common goal, and they still argue a little bit too, so it's not too forced. The episode has a lot of energy to it and it is interesting that they were able to have two plots together and make a good episode. It's 9/10.

Episode 10 B: Shell Shock
Do you remember Ronnie Anne? They remember now! Also, really we're doing the watch an egg as a child plot line, really?
The 5th graders seem excited there's an egg baby challenge, because reasons? The teacher decides to not have Lincoln and Clyde be egg parents together because, also reasons. Clyde gets a girl named Penelope and Lincoln gets Ronnie Anne. Since, Ronnie Anne has been shown to be a little aggressive, Lincoln worries that she might be a little aggressive with the egg. (Now why would Ronnie Anne want to hurt her grade, that's a question?)
Clyde and Penelope are going to be the perfect parents for this episode, so, I don't have to mention that anymore. Lincoln wants to name their baby Rochelle, and Ronnie Anne doesn't like that name because, reasons. (She wants the name Toby)
Again, Lincoln thinks that Ronnie Anne is going to do mean things the egg in amusing ways. Poor Rusty, his partner left him and took an F. (Poor guy) Lincoln figures he can't keep the egg away from Ronnie Anne for ever so he makes a fake egg (genius, really). He accidentally gave the real egg Ronnie Anne
Lincoln switches the eggs and he learns something about Ronnie Anne. How caring is she for Bobby, for example. So, he tries to switch the eggs back and she figures out the fake egg. He explains why he did it, and she's not happy. (duh?) The real egg dies. She kicks him out of the house. He does figure out how to fix things and asks the teacher for a second chance. The teacher even says he figured out the assignment was about.
I'm pointing this out here, because the next time we see Ronnie Anne it's a special thing. In the episodes she was shown in, so, not that one where she was mentioned. We do see has a complex character; she does get hurt when Lincoln says he would rather lick the bathroom floor than be with her , and that she's not all rough around edges. Here we see her family life a working brother, and working single mom, and how much work she puts into her family. It doesn't feel like they are forcing it to make the viewer like her; it has a genuine feeling to it. Like I said earlier, I don't think she would have ruined school project. I give this episode 10/10. z
