Episode 9a : Away Game
This show is holding on the continuity that Ronnie Annie and Bobby's Father, Arturo, has moved into an apartment nearby and seeing his two kids a little more. Strangely enough , Rosa, the grandmother, thinks that this means that her grand kids will be leaving her and living with their father. All she really has to do is read the premise of the show and she would have been fine. It's strange that she would think this when even though, she would still see them if they moved because they are in the same city and you know, the mother is there too. Also, it's strange that Rosa has this as in the episode, "Operation Dad", she was openly wanting Arturo move to the city.
So, Ronnie Anne and Bobby are spending the weekend with their Dad, and Rosa is concerned and she has funny was of thinking what will happen to them with their dad, this involves them dying in various ways. Now, she decides to make her place more fun than Arturo's ,so they don't go and see him. She also tries to be "cool" to impress them. (Is her plan also make them not love their father anymore, otherwise, this is a waste of time) So, she breaks into the apartment and messes up things , because that sounds sane. Because the plot demands it, Ronnie Anne, Bobby, and Arturo find her in the couch; because screw physics.
She tells them the truth of being worried that the kids might move in with their dad or go with him back to Peru. It ends how it was expected to end and every thing is fine.
That's the episode. It's not one without laughs even if it loses some of it's groundedness , the episode is fine. Weirdly enough, if you don't watch Operation Dad, this episode makes more sense, because you wouldn't know that Rosa was openly liking the idea of Arturo moving in, she even used her praying candles. So, maybe watch this episode first then watch that. one, or they are in parallel universes or something. I give it 8/10.

Episode 9b: Monster Cash
Carl gets the idea to do his own ghost tour after hearing about one and finding out he can make money from such a thing. (Because Carl likes money, get it?) Rosa wants Carl to clean his room, this is an important detail for later, so it is not random. She says that El Cucuy, a monster spirit thing, will come after him if he doesn't do what he's supposed to do. Also, this figures into the plot in two ways.
Carl creates a monster tour (for $39 per person,) featuring the idea of El Cucuy being featured in the tour as well. It is fun to see Carl do this tour , he really sales it well. He tricks Ronnie Anne to get her out of the way from ruining his tour. It seems that the tour worked out well and profitably. Carl buys some fancy stuff . Meanwhile, there maybe a Cucuy following them around. I do like how the sky is all dark and presents a menacing and dangerous feel. Also, Ronnie Anne is mad that Carl ditched her. (Rightfully so) He releases this this figure isn't her in disguise. He decides to give the money back and do his chores. This rectifies the situation. Oh yeah, it was Rosa.
It's a fun episode, again Carl's character is one of their more fun written with characters in this series. It's fun to see how his businessman works and really has a fun vibe for his character. The episode doesn't put anything mentioned to waste. Some would be able to tell the Cucuy was Rosa, since she brought it up and Carl didn't do anything she wanted him to do. It's a fun episode I give it 8/10.
That's it for now, tune in next time when we wonder how Rosa fit in the couch like that.
