The Loud House: Season 7: Episode 11: Party Fowl / Sleepless in Royal Woods

 The Loud House Nickelodeon

Episode 11a: Party Fowl

Sergio from The Casagrandes shows up in this episode. Wait come back!  The spinoff ended but they want to add characters from that series at times because reasons, the weirdest idea is someone said we're going to pick Sergio as one we want to show up.  I don't find that character enduring, especially since he doesn't seem to do anything of redemption or if he does his character resets later anyway so who cares?

I'm  going to get that out of the way here now. The episode does a strange funny part where Carl Casagrande and Lola make a deal to swap places, but that was for a gag and I wish that was the plot instead.  Sergio is being left with the Louds because Carlos doesn't want him around (cough) at his lecture. He couldn't leave him home in a bird cage, they brought him to the Louds in one. I guess we needed plot.

Sergio is told that he has to behave or he'll be sent to bird bootcamp, Oh now he has to behave ohhhh... what?  Will he do that? No. (Where do you think we are?)   Sergio wants to have fun and party and the Loud Pets just want to play old maid. (I'm going home)  He calls Sancho, his pigeon friend from Great Lakes City , to come up  and bring friends to party.  Couldn't Sergio just fly to... (owww)

Anyway because Sergio is also a jerk, he promises the pets they can come but lies about the location.  He goes to the real party the pets figure out he lied to them. Sergio comes back to the Loud House and the pets are mad at him, justifiably. They leave him outside (yes).  He's able to get in but then his pigeon friends show up and want to party at the house. He can't have them there or he's bacon... uh I mean... [I'm not Bing searching that] he's in trouble.  The pets don't help him until he apologizes.

Anyway things go well after that and Sergio kind of gets off free though the episode ends with him fleeing but nothing happens on screen after Rosa hears one of the Louds wondering why they found pigeon 'stuff' in the basement.

It's not the strongest episode, Sergio just isn't an enduring character, he's does something gets off with it mostly and will reset later, that's how it worked in "The Casagrandes" and I'm not expecting anything different here. He also over takes the episode the pets and Louds are in the background or not present, so it's not very entertaining.    Only a few highlights were Lola and Carl's scene and Leni's little moment.  It's not fully bad like outright, it just is there and uses a character that really is hard to root for or enjoy as a main... I give it 6.7/10.

Episode 11b: Sleepless in Royal Woods

Nope, this episode isn't about Rita Loud falling for a widowed architect even though she's married , what?  Rita is tending to a Lily who can't sleep because  Lynn Sr. gave her coffee based desert. Rita decides the smartest thing she should do as a person beyond tired, is drive. (Rita ! No!)  She takes Lily into the van they ride in the night of Royal Woods. She is trying to get Lily to sleep.

That's when Lily and Rita see a burglar leaving a restaurant and she decides to call the police, but for the plot to work, they have to be there to shrug it off and think a tired Rita was seeing things. (failure!)  So as any normal person would do, if they were named Jessica Fletcher, Rita and Lily decide to chase each the burglar. They go mystery hunting, hmm with their van... wait!(Oh great they are knocking off.. Hong Kong Phooey)

It is fun to see the mother and daughter duo go around searching for a burglar and going by clues (don't try this at home).  Eventually they get to Dairyland, where this show really likes going to now and chase the guy down. This was after a fun car vs. horse chase with the van crashing into hay. (Uh guys you could just back ... eh anyway)  They end capturing the guy, who happens to be Mrs. Bernardo, that's right.  Apparently, she was method acting being a burglar for a commercial role. (Uh, arrest her anyway)

It's a simple episode, a little goofy, but nothing really bad about it to be like oh no... it's bad.  I give it 7/10.

That's it for now, tune in next time when we sue a drama teacher for breaking our lock.
