 The Really Loud House  Nickelodeon

Episode 11: The Princess and the Everlasting  Emerald: A Royal Woods Fairytale Part 1

The episode starts with Lincoln doing a bedtime story of Lilly, and they end up doing a book about this two parter thing. Charlie is moving back to Tennessee very soon. (Gets poked with stick- oh no!)  Lincoln decides to get her a gift that he would remember her , and that apparently is a very expensive emerald that happens to be Flip's Food n' Fuel.   I didn't know that there were non everlasting emeralds? It's also the first time seeing live-action Flip. Lincoln doesn't have that money, and he could have just found a different thing to buy. Flip tells him he's about to lose his store, but Flip tells him he's the only that can help him. (I need your kidney Lincoln, he didn't say that, but he could have and it wouldn't be a shock)

Hmm Lincoln agrees to help , but don't what he'll be doing to help. (Then Lincoln wakes up in a bath tub filled with ice in Toledo missing a kidney)  Like not reading terms and conditions, I wonder what could go wrong?

Lincoln has to set up the rest of the plot device. Lynn Sr. likes to have charity week and wants at least one kid to help him.  He gives up and apparently didn't ask a few other kids.  Lincoln comes in and ties this plot into this.  So what did he agree to like not reading any terms and conditions?  So Flip is the charity week case and the plan is to have Lincoln's family , well only 5 of the kids, I have to give a little half point to for the "Eleven kids seems irresponsible, even for old Flip, so I rounded it down to five." joke.   He picked Lincoln, Lana, Lisa, Lucy, and Leni (good choices) and needs Rita to play his wife. Why? Because is brother Walter is coming to town and he's the one that gave him money for Flip's and  he's worried his brother might tear it down, and said he used the money on his family.

Rita and Lynn Sr. agree to this plan. (what? )   For a bigger twist, he thought that Leni was Lisa, he thought Lisa was Leni, thought Lucy was Luan, and Lana was the pageant sister, he doesn't say Lola, so he could be confused.  He also has to get Lynn Sr. out of the way. (He just puts the man in the basement at least, he didn't kill him or take an organ)

Walter shows up and looks like he's lost for being The Penguin on 60's Batman.  He gets to meet the family and the interactions are funny like Lucy doing jokes is great. (Episode did fart stuff and I'm just going to take away a point for the whole two parts) It's like if Cover Girls was insane for an episode.  Lincoln sees the other siblings, and Lilly isn't part of this she was gone conveniently, and probably why Lincoln is telling her this story.

It's a classic plot of having someone fake a family, at least in sitcoms. I hope that's not something that really happens.  Things seem to be going smoothly, whilst in the basement Lynn Sr. goes insane and ends up dressing up as someone he calls  Kristoff  Bolschwarzenegger  German Shepard Von Tropp. Which confuses Walter and they make up that Lynn Sr. is the handy man.  This episode is weird.

This is a two-parter it's really dragging something here for it's Walter finds a reason to stay another day, because they melted his icy heart of something and it one more thing, Charlie is leaving that night.

To be continued.

Episode 12: The Princess and the Everlasting  Emerald: A Royal Woods Fairytale Part 2

The story continues.  Charlie's bus is leaving earlier than planned, but thankfully Clyde has found away to delay it. Walter has decided to stay a little longer.  The Louds Flip didn't are descending into madness in basement.  Clyde has taken the tires from the bus because that's something that can be done.

Walter wants to have a whole day of family fun (because he's greedy that way). This episode  part continues the madness of the first part like how the family loves Flip's weird breakfast. It's doing everything to make Lynn Sr. boil over. They even do a song with Flip.  He boils at the wrong time and reveals the truth, when Flip wants Walter to stay for charades. (Ironic)  That's when Walter announces he's going to bulldoze Flip's store.

No one can tell that the bus inspector is just a human child.  Anyway, back to Lincoln and the Louds. Lincoln finally reveals to his family that everything is his fault. He mentions to his family everything and why everything was something.  I like how the family doesn't even get mad they decide to try and help Flip for charity week and see if they raise money to help Flip.

Though the basement Louds going to madness seems to go nowhere else as they just join the others to help with the plan.  Even Lori and Liam show up.  They put together a fundraiser to raise  $57,000 (what?)  There are some fun moments in this and song was pretty fun. Of course they are able to raise the money and a nice callback to earlier in the plot with Flip's first 2 dollar Bill being used to make up the small difference.

Lincoln has to go see Charlie and he takes a horse! We get Lincoln on a horse!  He makes it Charlie's bus and it's able to stop the bus, because one is able to do that.  Then he gives her the ring and makes it look like he was proposing.  That's it.

This was a great two part-er it. The concept of having people pretend to be someone else for someone is not new thing, but the episode has fun with it.  I like how everyone seemed to be invovled in the plan for charity. It was fun to see Lynn Sr. get jealous that his family might enjoy Flip more than him.  Flip was having fun with the family. It brought some fun moments and a mixture of oddity.

The wrap around of it being Lincoln retelling a story to Lilly was a nice touch and is a nice way to have Lilly be part of the episodes. On the Charlie saga,  I think she's works better than originally thought because the idea really isn't that we are to be invested in her character but that Lincoln has a big crush and wants to be with her because that's how young crushes work. I think would have been more interesting things that could have worked with her like maybe Lincoln finds out she's not what he expected or they don't have much in common, but it's fine, but it could have been better.

There is some fun to this show and this pairing was great. The first half did have some weak points but I think over all was a fun and a little unhinged fun that's 7.6/10. The 2nd half really feels like everything was there and they wanted to have a big show and that's fine that's what this show does.  I enjoyed everyone and everything coming together to help out Flip and Lincoln. Great epic horse riding moment and a sweet ending. I give it 8/10.  So for this two parter 7.8/10.
