The Loud House: Season 6: Episode 15: Hiccups and Downs/ The Loathe Boat

 The Loud House Nickelodeon

 Episode 15a: Hiccups and Downs

Luna is excited because her band gets to be in a competition , but the plot comes into play Luna gets long extended hiccups.  The value of this episode is seeing how the siblings decide to help Luna in their own ways. Nice to see Lucy have Luan working with her to help her cause fear in the classic hiccup cure.  (Also Saw reference)  Lincoln and Lynn work together by doing EXTRME stunt.

Finally Lisa comes up with a solution, but there's still time left in the episode and we need something to happen... uh... Luna accidently left the spray in Chunk's van and didn't use it so.. she could just call...oh he doesn't use his phone on his way to a gig. He's going to Liam's farm.

She also calls Lisa for some help, let's call that plan b,  meanwhile Chunk has called an animal riot at Liam's farm. (Because of course)  Chunk's not there, because there's still time left in the episode, that means it's go find Chunk episode.   The bottle breaks after Luna gets it and she still has hiccups.

Well now what?  Oh, ok I guess, it's time for plan C, which isn't plan B, that is her hiccups work for the performance after all because uhhh sure.  They won the competition because.... sure.  The hiccups are gone because excitement was the reason, because sure.  The competition  people  come back and hope that she has hiccups again because sure alright. (wow that's something)

The episode is fun, I like the Loud sibling being in it, helping out Luna it's a good showing for Luna, in a long time, This episode was good. 7/10.

Episode 15b: The Loathe Boat

In a season 4 episode where a character named Bertand was introduced as a character whose father was getting a job as a cruise ship lifeguard, that episode also introduced the mortician club thing. This episode circles us back.

Lucy calls an emergency meeting of the club to talk about Bertand sending a note through pelican. (Which has better service than [mobile company name redacted] ) where he's unhappy about being on the cruise ship that was mentioned in season 4. The ship is docking at the lake and this is their chance to help get him off the boat.  (Plot Convenient Pelican) Bertand  has been tanned and looks like a cruise person.  He meets the friends again and talks about how he feels the cruise ship is making him miserable.

Lucy actually brings up why doesn't he just tell his parents, but he says they don't understand. (uh hold on a second) There has to be a new plan, they are going sneak him off by plot convenient pelican and having him try to get to land, but the bird drops him going out for fish.

Bertand's father, is life guarding as advertised, he does try to tell his dad he doesn't like this cruise life and the man thinks he's joking or something. (Going back to that hold on a second, well played show, alright that's kind of nice, wow plus 0.1pts)   The rest of the episode is the friends trying a new plan and it failing, like three times he falls in the water and his father retrieving him.

Plan D or something was  scare everyone off, and well does that work?  What do you think?  What I find interesting is that everyone thinks that this was them acting and doing a scare act for the entertainment, which is kind of funny. (Plus 0.1pts)  The parents say they want to expand to a 2 year stay on the boat.  That's when Lucy tells them what really happened. She expresses the reason that the friends want Bertand, the parents didn't know this because the way he talks was his normal talk and didn't know. (Which wow well done, plus 0.1pts)  They find a plot convenient way for him to stay, by giving him an aunt. Then conga ending. (what?)

You know what? The most fun about this episode is how it's written, mostly, the whole tell his parents how he feels thing doesn't work because of the fact his goth talk when he says it's killing him or something makes his parents think he likes it because they do understand him, but didn't fully understand him. I liked that and it's something I wasn't expecting but it was good to see. There are some conveniences but they don't bug me,  The episode is otherwise alright, goes in the vain of the Lucy and friends episodes being more slapstick and weird, but it was better than the one where they rose up real ghosts and stuff. I give it 7.3/10
