The Casagrandes: Season 3: Episode 14: Phantom Freakout

 The Casagrandes Nickelodeon

Episode 14 : Phantom Freakout

This is pretty much the final special of this series, production wise it was the 18th episode of the season. Let's see how the final special went.

It's takes the internally known K-Pop band Twelve is Midnight  and gives our main duo of Ronnie Anne and Sid something.  Sid has won a place to be an extra on a video that's being filmed; she and Ronnie Anne are going.  They go to the old Royal Woods Concert Hall that looks like it's up keep isn't kept up.

There's a ghost (something something minus 1pts, just for our consistency) and this ghost has showed up and is messing with the filming production.  Heh convenient timing time again (spins the whee of convenience and we get...) mmm yes, Lincoln and Clyde are on their way to Great Lakes City at this very important time  (and aren't wearing seatbelts, shame on them, minus 0.2pts)  and Ronnie Anne tells them about the ghosts and these two decide to show up.

Also conveniently, just because Sid asks the question wondering about it, doesn't mean that it's not waived from being hyper convenient that they brought their ghost stuff with them and they say they bring it with them all the time. (Yes, we're mean here, don't make me tap the sign)  the episode turns into actual ghost with ghostbusters  versus pop stars.

"Lincoln, I think you busted the ghost," says Ronnie Anne not noticing there's still a whole 2nd half to this special, and apparently one of the pop stars is combined into a French Horn because sure.

   More after the jump

It's odd to see  man's head on a French Horn. (what am I watching?)  More pop stars are turned into instruments.  Clyde uses not Shazam to find out that music is being played by the ghost and that he is a former composer who is upset.    They notice that a bunch of concerts over time at the hall has been canceled. Ronnie Anne calls the great Maybelle and finds out that the ghost is causing a bunch of performances to get canned.

Hey, they are doing it again,  due to another clue, Ronnie Anne figures out that the ghost composer might not like pop music, because he didn't haunt a classical music concert.  (The moral of the episode is don't be a music snob? What?)

Ronnie Anne gets an idea to have Yoon Kwan play a classical music piece to prove that there is some musical chops for pop stars after all.  The ghost is impressed because sure alright,  and turns the other ones back into peoples and he lets them play their music, and he says he can rest in peace now or something. (This is not a strange episode of Ghost Whisperer)

It gets to end with music because alright.

This is the first (and only?) time Clyde showed up in "The Casagrandes" and yeah the special really is there to have Lincoln and Clyde play ghost hunters in a better episode than Loud House's Ghosted! (I mean the first half was fine, but yeah)  The episode is set up to where Clyde seemingly already knows Sid, I don't mind that, it's not an episode about Clyde meeting Sid or anything. It's focused on it's plot well and doesn't divert, it's telling a story and not being bloated with some  other things.

Not surprised, to see the fun bond between the characters it was a nice treat, the special was good and kept it's pacing it well.  The special brings a lot of fun elements with a little "Ghostbusters" and Scooby Doo like vibe.  So yeah, it's pretty good.  I give it 8/10
