The Loud House: Season 6: Episode 2: Don't Escar-go/ Double Trouble

 Nickelodeon The Loud House

    Episode 2a: Don't Escar-go

Clyde tells his friends that his grandma's friend who is an instructor of a famous hard to get into French cooking school and he impressed her, but there's one problem for the group: it's in Paris (not the Texas one) and that would mean Clyde would have to go, if he's accepted in, when he does a big dinner for her that night.

This makes the friends worry about Clyde deciding to leave, points to Lincoln fainting, and some fun moments. There's a different idea: where the friends decide to find ways for Clyde to learn French cooking while not in Paris, so he won't have to go to Paris.   Lincoln's  Dad doesn't work out because of busy-ness, so they go to Chef Pat (whom you may remember from Diss the Cook) , she agrees if the others help watch her niece, Waffles, whom will be the reason I give this episode an extra . 3pts.  That, of course, doesn't work, and they decide to try a different plan to sabotage the final dinner instead.

Now, of course, this is a bad idea, but the intentions were kind of understandable, that they are attached to Clyde like a family member, but the hijinks are fun to watch, and there's a point where Lincoln and friends realize that they are messing up a great opportunity for Clyde.  They decide to sabotage their sabotage, which um, they could have just saved a minute and told the woman why should she shouldn't eat that dinner.

They decide to leave, instead of cleaning up the mess, Clyde decides that doesn't want to go anyway because of the fact he doesn't want the whole thing to be a strain  and to make his  whole future be planned out is not something he's ready for yet.  (That and we aren't doing a big change up of status quo, here, folks)  A compromise of sorts, the teacher does some virtual classes to help Clyde hone in skills. (Not sure how she'll taste the food , but alright)

The episode was good and brings up something interesting, I think the interesting part is to see how the friends react to the idea of Clyde maybe leaving, the problem though, is that we know that Clyde isn't leaving so those stakes aren't that high; it might have been more interesting if Clyde was like yeah I'm going, and the friends did some weird stuff to make him miss Royal Woods, then loop back into knowing what opportunities Clyde had  and deciding to let their bird fly, then back to Clyde deciding not to go because he's not thinking of going on a mountain to milk some goats.

I think the episode was good over all, so I give it 7.2 oh yeah... don't bite me , Waffles, I know, I know 7.5/10.

More after the jump

Episode 2b: Double Trouble

This episode is about twins and ice cream, anyway the ice cream shop is holding a  contest for twins to promote  a new sundae.  Lana and Lola decide to enter the contest, and they first scout out some other twins and this episode gets funny with Flip and Mr. Grouse pretending to be twins (same voice actor joke)  Liam brings two goats , Scoots has a twin that looks like her but on a Moped.  And Sheryl and Merryl show up they are part of our plot.

Now we get twin contest action it ends up being mostly Lana and Lola, and Shery and Merryl , not the goats.  anyway the Sherryl- Merryl pair win and Lola and Lana feel bad, and this is where Lola decides to make up a plot to those twins to fight to make them break the "no fighting clause"  (Phil and Lil would lose)  Anyway, the Loud twins do a bunch of things to make sure the Smeryl (not my joke) twins lose and  they find an idea that works, getting Merryl to watch their soap without her and this causes a fight.

The Loud twins evil plan has worked, and during the ribbon cutting ceremony , for a sundae, the Smeryl twins fight and the ice cream shop owner gives it to the Loud twins. Lola and Lana find out that Meryl is leaving due to their actions , and they decide to get Sherryl to her sister before it's too late and reveal the truth.

Then the episode ends with the twins having an ice cream party together , and a funny end reveal.

This episode is pretty good, focused on the strength of the twins, Lana and Lola, and their twin sister bond, it's better than "Strife of the Party" and goes off "Training Day" a little,  it was interesting to see more of Sheryl and Merryl  which always felt like a one off joke they decided to commit to doing alot more.  Good episode enjoy the twin fun, it has a lot of fun jokes as well, 7.5/10

That's it for now, Becky and Ricky should somehow shown up, it doesn't have to make sense why they are there, there were goats there, tune in next time when we don't ramble like that again. Maybe.
