It's Pony Nickelodeon
Doing an "It's Pony" episode because why not? We've not done a written post about the show since the holiday episode, so let's pick a random episode.
Episode 19a : Always Yes Annie
This is one is a character has to say no alot to another character because if not that character will get into trouble, so there's a challenge to say yes for a whole day-- hi jinks ensue. So, Annie makes a deal to say not say no all day and if she fails , Pony doesn't have to go the vet.
Since Annie can't say no to him, he's free to be unleashed to do weird things like dye her hair purple, drive a public bus, and drinking fire hose water. It does cause Annie trouble because of course that happens. The part where Pony helps out Annie where she doesn't get detention was pretty funny.
Pony realizes that Annie is doing pretty well at saying yes, meaning he would have to go to the vet. His plan changes to do more stupid things to find something Annie would refuse and that's when he gets to do some stupid things and Annie's will power seems to be 100 strong.
He decides to find something so crazy and deranged to make her say no. So the final boss plan is to have him and Annie jump over a pool of piranhas She ends up saying no, and ironically, he ends up having to go to the vet after following into the pool.
The always say yes plot is a classic one, and it's used well here. Annie saying yes works smoothly for the entire plot, it's funny that anything bad that happens falls on Pony and not her. Pony even helping her out of detention was pretty awesome. The jokes land well, this show in general is great with quick beat hits and this plot allows for tons of them since it's a rapid succession of Pony doing bad ideas with Annie watching or even going along, and when things ramp up it makes for a even more enjoyable ride.

Annie is going on a sleep over to Heston's house and the goal is to make sure Pony doesn't run home, like he does other times. There's more since the parents are going (whispers: dancing). Pony takes Annie's advice of make yourself at home literally.
There's one rule at Heston's house: don't go into his brother Kyle's room and well guess what that means.. Pony will do something. Now one of Kyle's prized possessions has been destroyed. This causes them to run and now going to spend the night at Clara's place. Clara's house is kind of fun, and there's even a robot that's like a moving Alexa thing.
It goes wrong thanks to Pony messing with the heat and air and causing a power outage. Time for house number 3: Gerry's house. This version isn't fun until Annie decides to fix things up to make sure her first full sleepover will go well. Then Pony sees the lights on at their house and runs with Kyle's warhammer to see who is in the apartment.
It was the parents, who decided to come home that Annie' s Dad has a fear of people seeing him dancing. The episode does a fun solution of everyone sleeping over at Annie and Pony's home and the episode's ending is funny too.
This one was also a fun episode, again the quick beat humor of the show works well for this episode as well. I like how the episode builds up through the plot and has a fun resolution and the ending thing was great.
