The Loud House Nickelodeon
This is an episode about Lucy and her goth friends are watching their TV show, "Vampires of Melancholia" and found out they have to wait a long time for the next episode of the show. (They aren't watching the Loud House where waiting doesn't happen) Spooky house, oh yeah, and someone has moved in. Uh oh the guy is spooky, throws away mirrors and junk and yes, he must be a vampire. Lucy and the friends think he's a vampire and want him to bite them because they want to die... to be immortal. (what?)
Oh and anyway, let's see, the plot says they think he's a vampire, therefore he is not. That's the episode. (The Family Bonding rule doesn't apply?) That's essentially this episode that is it. The whole episode is Lucy and friends wanting to be vampires and stalking a man they think is, and will found out that he is not. I know, I'm like passing it over mostly, but really, this season has had a real ghost plot and an episode where characters think somebody is something else and that was done more entertainingly. Like I've said before the ride of an episode can be more fun than the destination, especially if the distention is already know.
I guess the fun part is the guy they think is a vampire is going around signing people up to be vampires. They then wonder why the guy isn't signing them up and think they have been slighted. They decide to dress like "normies"(if this was 1983 , I guess) and annoy the man and thankfully that doesn't work. (That an there was still 2 minutes left in the plot)
Then they rush into the house and find out that this was a taping of their favorite show instead. (Because duh) They also get to meet the star of the show, the guy who plays Edward and get apart in the episodes. The episode isn't bad, it's pretty alright, this one really depends on your enjoyment of the story. I give it 6.5/10
More after the Jump
Oh a Lisa episode that's my stuff. The Loud family, minus Lisa, are watching the reality show "The Dream Boat" when Lisa has big news that she thinks she found a dinosaur bone, but it seems that they aren't interested. Anyway, she goes to check the bone and hey Todd the robot is back, good to him. She finds out that the bone may be really old. The next day, thanks to Charles the dog, she finds out the bones are not dinosaur but actually from Thanksgiving.
Thanks to plot convenience, she founds out from Lana that her machine was slightly off because of Lana trying to date cream puffs. (what?) Lisa was about to post an update that the bone she found wasn't a dino bone after all, but then, the plot shows up, and a crowd is in the house.
Before she can say anything, a scientist from the museum named Dr. Alvarez who specializes in dinosaur stuff. Apparently the museum has a TV channel (why?) and the doctor Alvarez offers Lisa her own show. (Yes, please) This episode also mentions Lisa is five, so I'm glad we confirm she also has aged up more than just a grade.
This is one of those episodes where there's truth that a character [in this case, Lisa] wants to tell, but things get in the way [ The doctor offering her a TV show and wanting to educate kids is her thing] and you see how big it goes in to a mess. She talks to Todd for some idea and thinks it would be a good idea to do if it means making kids interested in science. (Lisa no!)
The show seems to be Lisa doing random stuff and saying science. (More qualified than[Redacted]) She has a fan club and everybody loves her. Dr. Alvarez shows up and wants to the bone (oh yeah, the plot) to be brought for the next episode of Lisa's show to show how radiometric dating works (it's the best kind of dating.) Lisa gets nervous and now has to find an actual dino bone, and Todd gives her the idea to steal a bone from the museum.(Wait, Lisa no!) She was planning to replace the real bone with the bone she found because oh no no.
The next day, is the day to show the bone, the bone that's been holding up a T-rex for at least over 12 hours decides to break right during the show because it's time to wrap this story up. Lisa, for a second, thinks she killed Alvarez but instead Alvarez finds out she lied. (So then Lisa killed her ?) The truth comes out and Alvarez decides to can Lisa's show (yet we still have reality shows boo!) and offers Lisa to earn her trust back and a place to host tours at the museum.
This was a fine episode, funny they gave Lisa an episode about a lie when she had an episode about lying before. I'm happy they didn't do another Lisa over the top with science episode plot this time, it was a fun episode though. I'm happy to see Todd again and be our robot for the episode. The episode has a fun pace and even though you know the lie will come out, it still presents enough tension to wonder how it comes out. I give it 7.8/10
That's it for now, tune in next time when we write about how the museum channel has fallen and now mostly airs shows about children who gamble, and angry people telling me the world is actually diamond shaped.
