Episode 3a: The Kid Plays in the Picture
This episode is about Carl wanting a toy called the Falcon fortress toy, his mother says yes but in nine months for his birthday. Then he sees Carlota getting free stuff from them seeing her make up videos and Carl gets the idea to the same with toys after Carlota tells him about those videos that exist and yes.
Carl tries this without her help and gets 0 views (un realistic) but yes, he needs her help after all. So he does a new format and what works actually is him and Sergio fighting over the latest toys. (Internet is weird) I do like how Sergio is used in this episode for once, he's not overly annoying and over used, he sprinkled in just right.
Carl starts to get free stuff as planned, and a montage of them making their videos and fighting. The videos are called Get Your Own! The episode gets weird(er) as a strange lady named Monica from a toy company just shows up. Yep, funny enough her clothes colors are the same as Rita's but also I'm concerned that they just talk to strange lady they don't know but alright. Her contract written in the shape of a skull is a sign I think she might be evil.
Her offer is sign the paper and get free toys.... then she evil laughs when Sergio and Carl leaves. I think she might be evil. Carl has Hector, who's sleeping, "sign" the document. Carl thinks he gets what he wanted, but he can't because the woman wants him to keep filming videos and he can't have fun. I still think that lady might be evil, her throne exudes evil.
The woman tells Carl he signed a contract and has to continue or they'll lose everything in a lawsuit. So then Carlota gets the idea to have him suck so they'll kill the contract. The Toy he has toe review it's the one he wanted all along, because of course. He destroys the toy and gets the contract killed. The moral of the story is don't talk to strangers.
It was an alright episode, nothing to wow me with , but it was fun. I liked how obviously evil they made that Monica character be, it was funny in it's own way. Not much else to say, I give it. 7/10

Episode 3b: Achy Breaky Art
You can tell my arms go back to the farm but you don't tell my art it's bad. I did it, there. Anyway, this episode about about Frida having her art being put up for a charity auction. There's an art critic from the newspaper. (Yeah they live in a world where newspapers still pay art critics) The art review man writes his review and it's ummm he doesn't like it. The family worries that the member who cries at the drop of a dime, would not be very happy about this review. (The art reviewer is just mad his paper is making cut backs and he has to cover city hall as well)
Anyway, the try to make sure Frida doesn't see the review in new and fun way. That's a chunk of the episode. Frida does see the review after all, She cries as she does, and kids decide a new plan to stop . I do love whenever Carl feels his mother has been hurt wanting to solve the issue with violence it's kind of sweet. The episode remembers that the charity auction was part of it, so the kids devise a plan to get people to buy Frida's art.
Bobby and Carlota dress as fancy rich people to make sure the market is inflated. Carl has his own plan to make it where people raise their hands by him using a fishing pole. That plan fails because of course, instead, Frida shows up with her new art made from her tears.
I think this was good episode, the family caring about Frida is sweet , their goofy lengths to go are really a nice touch. I liked That Frida is used to criticism and she just continues on working, it's realistic and really shows you do have to have some thick skin on things. This episode had some funny moments. I give it 7.4/10.
That's it for now, tune in next time when we make people cry, then have to make apology posts.
