The Really Loud House: Season 2: Episode 16: The Odyssey

 The Loud House Nickelodeon

Episode 16: The Odyssey

I like how the episode decides to find a way to get the sisters and the parents out the entire episode and just have it be Lincoln and Clyde. It's cozy episode too.  Clyde delivers the news that he is moving- a twist that will change the entire Loud House series forever- Clyde is moving to Florida.  After the parent actors get their quota done,  the episode focuses only Clyde and Lincoln.

There's a past story that Lincoln and Clyde met and had a milkshake, Clyde wants to go back there Of course, we need to fill some time in an episode so I think hijinks will ensue.  An old lady plays the game and convinces Lincoln and Clyde to help her cross the street, then help her with her moving stuff. She power moved them, excellently, 100% well done! She named her dog Rumsfeld.

There's a biker gang who having fun  playing with a toy helicopter.  I'm sure they won't play into the plot. Lincoln and Clyde decide to stop chasing Rumsfeld (resisting joke) and find an old fort they had when they were little.  Lincoln gets attacked by spiders.  They have to run from the biker gang after destroying the helicopter.

This episode has a fun chase going on and Clyde still really really wants to go get a milkshake. Lincoln is getting injured and not having the most fun, but he decides to let Clyde trek on on the milkshake quest.  They end up at a business mailroom, take some mailroom ladies' uniforms. Also the business seemingly has only one copy of a very important document, the duo shred by mistake without any care.  Odd, the biker gang gets help from the business security to chase the boys.

We find out why Clyde wants to get a milkshake. A girl. He has a crush a girl and wants to see one last time before he goes. The biker gang gets interested in the plot too. Clyde even points out things went in past episodes how he helped Lincoln with his love escapades and Lincoln decides that he'll be honored to be his wingman. Glad it wasn't a long fight.

Thanks to that silly moment earlier about the paper being shredded, apparently this helped Clyde not move , good work?  The bikers like love stories and decide to help Lincoln and Clyde stop Clyde's silly mistake. Then milkshake girl shows up, and Lincoln helps Clyde express what he wants to say. She likes him too.

I really enjoyed this episode. It was a lot of fun . I think it was interesting to use the idea of Clyde moving away and make the entire episode not a stop him from moving thing, but a plot where Lincoln and Clyde try to have one last moment together before the move. Then they find a funny way to get things to stay normal where Clyde doesn't have to move after all.  Episode was also the funniest in awhile and does stick to comedy, even some physical comedy.  Poor Lincoln. Lots of great moments, love the bikers and their reactions and coming in clutch at the end there.  Sweet friendship moments too, and really liked how Lincoln came in clutch at the end.

A really fun episode 9/10.     That's it for now, tune in next time when the milkshakes bring all the boys to the yard.
