The Really Loud House: Season 2: Episode 14: The Boyfriend Stays in the Picture

The Really Loud House Nickelodeon

Episode 14: The Boyfriend Stays in the Picture

This episode brings up the movie Lincoln and Clyde were making before. [Season 2, Episode 11] This time they had a sequel with Bobby.  I love their movie is in 4:3 too, very fun. Anyway, they have one more scene to film to impress an investor named Mr. Moneygreen  -played by John O'Hurley-  he wants their movie by the next day by noon.  I wonder what could go wrong?   I mean I've already watched the episode.

Lana and Lola want their bed time pushed back to one hour later, they get the advice from Lincoln to slowly butter their father up [mmm buttered dad]. Lori and Bobby are having a spat which seem to entertain the Louds. Lincoln tells the audience that their fights don't usually go long. That means in this episode it will go long. Why? Well Bobby is unhappy the jeans the Lori bought him and they broke up. He didn't like the jeans because they were too tight. [Which seems like a reasonable reason to be bothered]

The Lincoln and Clyde plot gets a bit more problem as Lori has forbidden the family members from talking and hanging out with Bobby.  They at least try to ask Lori of they can at least film the last scene she says no.[That's putting it lightly] They attempt to do a Bobby recast but they can't find anyone that would work like Bobby did.

The parents, thanks to Lori and Bobby's fight,  get into their own argument after Lynn Sr. agreed with Bobby that you can't just buy someone else pants. [Hmm maybe]  Clyde and Lincoln work with Lisa, and Lynn to figure out a way to help Lori and Bobby get back together. Meanwhile, Luna and Leni work together on their own plan to get Lori and Bobby to back together.  Lincoln gives Lana and Lola the idea to take their dad's wallet and make him think he lost it then give it to him like they found it.

How do these plans go? All of them? Well all of them go badly.  It's impressive how they do too.  Lincoln's group plan collides into the Luna plan. It's funny to see how this all goes down, because it did seem that Luna's planned worked when Lori and Bobby have seemed to have made up, then Lincoln's plan screws up the whole thing. Bobby ends up saving the day himself, though sadly he decides to wear the uncomfortable pants and that also causes Lincoln and Clyde to get their movie done but lose their funding because of the tight pants affecting Bobby's acting.  Lana and Lola's plan didn't work either.

This episode is a weird one with an outing for Bobby to really show up in. I do think the chaos was fun  and it was fun to see Lincoln and Clyde's movie again. I think the episode did become a slight mess at times. The Lynn and Rita fight wasn't that funny or entertaining.   The Lori moments were fine, but it didn't do the best at making an interesting fight reason, it doesn't make her look good for being mad over Bobby not liking a pair of pants because they were uncomfortable. Bobby forcing himself to wear them and apologizing to Lori for that does brings things down a little.  I give this one 6.5/10.

That's it for now, tune in next time when we go back to Kmart to return these pants.
