The Really Loud House Nickelodeon
Episode 8 : Get Out of Dodgeball
In this episode Lincoln and Clyde make sure they can get out of gym. They also might have been indirectly the reason why the gym teacher got pummeled by roof shingles and later one they have had a kid get injured by a hawk at a Rip Hardcore show. That was a fun and dark joke there. Anyway, that corn dog also didn't just maim a kid it also ended Rip Hardcore's career. This episode turns into the the we have a man stay in our house and ends up annoying everyone episode. Yep, it's one of those.
Lincoln does feel bad that he might be responsible for the man, real name Stanley, losing his job and decides to let him stay in the Loud House. The rest of the family is alright with it for awhile. We get the part of the episode where Lincoln and Clyde benefit from him being around. The the rest of the family tells him that he's eating too much of the food and is a flat Earther. [random] As more and more it happens Rip becomes more annoying and they decide to help him find a new job. The problem is Rip is not very good at anything but being a macho strong man. Apparently, the Louds didn't think about finding him a WWE job.
It is funny to see Clyde just apparently deciding to spend nights and sleep at the Loud House. Then later he says Lincoln can escape and join in him at his house. Later on, when Rip has driven the family to shreds of insanity, there is one job for Rip that would work: being the school gym teacher. I like how everything tied together here. Clyde doesn't want that and goes to costs to make sure Lincoln doesn't tell his family. Clyde takes an interesting role here. This is after Rip was making them miserable too, so Clyde hates gym class that much.
I am also a fan of the episode using Hootie and the Blowfish, good work. Eventually, Lincoln feels that it has gone too far and his guilt eats away and decides to tell Rip about the job offer. Rip takes it , Gym class is back and he figures out that the corn dog incident was caused by Lincoln and Clyde.
This episode is fun. It allowed for a mixture of weirdness and did a fun take on the episode concept of someone staying pass their welcome somewhere. I found Lincoln's nightmare a good mix of horrifying and funny. Some well placed dark jokes were sprinkled in this episode. Well done uh 7.8/10.
That's it for now, tune in next time when SpongeBob makes a video for Rip Hardcore.
