The Loud House: Season 7: Episode 9: Music to My Fears/ Fluff and Foiled

 The Loud House Nickelodeon

Episode 9a: Music to My Fears

Luna gets an episode, it's about her and her band again. Yeah,  Luna is hurt and can't work... I mean play in her band. They need a replacement, and Luna thinks she found someone who can replace her at least on guitar. That's a girl name Nina. Then Luna gets worried that this girl might replace her in the band permanently, thanks to Luna. (It's like when Deborah Norville replaced Jane Pauley- This is an old thing to say)

Luna's friends wouldn't replace , we know that, and the show wouldn't do that, but story line. Anyway, the plot goes where Luan goes and makes sure that Nina can't make it to auditions (but not killing Nina) and whilst  Luna and her bandmates go through the town and, of course, all the other selections don't fit or are bad because comedy.

Nina is a fun character gives a nice vibe and it was fun to see how she evades Luan's obstacles. She's also a good skateboarder. Eventually, she makes it to the place, but Luna has one other idea.  The show remembered a teenage boy named Joey. Luna lies to her group and says Joey is perfect and will be a great fit.  Then she takes him to her house and hopes that he the guy with the trombone can um actually do that. He can, but then... oh no.. . he's used to marching in a marching band and won't stop moving.  My guy, Joey, is a little interesting.

She even consults Lynn to help and more fun happens, but this band will go on and have Joey be used as Luna has thought up having him on a treadmill. Things go well, until they don't. (like many people's first marriages) Luna feels bad that her band is having troubles and what she did to Nina. She knows exactly where Nina is (I'm scared) and she goes and finds her then things go well.

It's an alright episode. Luna's episodes have this thing where they kind of relate to the band and something  something. Here Luna had a fear she was going to get replaced, even though really she wouldn't. I think it was nice to see Joey again, his parts brought some funny moments and good use of a character that existed in the drawers of the show given some strength.  Also Nina was pretty cool too, hope she's not more than once used.  I give the episode 7.3/10.

Episode 9b: Fluff and Foiled

Lincoln talks the audience which is interesting. The setup feels more like an older episode of the show like season 1. Lincoln' family put him on the chore of doing laundry which feels like it should be  at least a two person job.  But Lincoln needs/wants to go to Dairy Land for a hat. His sister also won't be covering for him this time too.   Why do all the Louds have laundry at the same? Darn inefficient family.

So he is going to speed run the laundry to get to the park. Will this work? Look at the show again.. So yeah,  the fun is the different things he calls in Clyde to help. They go to the Laundromat and they get into fights with the senior citizens there on senior citizens' day.  Then they decide to use the park as a place to wash the clothes , like going on the rides. This eventually goes bad when Lincoln trips and all the stuff ends up in a cheese fountain.

Lincoln decides he has to do what he had do in the first place. I like the moment he tells Clyde, that he has to do it himself and Clyde should go enjoy his day.  Then later, Lincoln does get his hat thanks to Clyde still having Lincoln's ticket. It's a good balanced episode with a win.

The episode is alright, I think it works well and takes what was something that could have been done in season 1 and uses its current flavoring to it.  Lincoln's lesson was when he should just do the work in the first place, but the episode gives him the win of getting a hat because he did the work.  It was a joy to watch the episode too. I give it 7.5/10.

That's it for now, tune in next time, when the tenth costumer gets a free hat, not really.
