The Really Loud House: Season 1 : Episode 18: All Fair in Love and Sleepovers

 The Really Loud House  Nickelodeon

Episode 18: All Fair in Love and Sleepovers

I will point out that yes, I get the point show, you've done some Lincoln and Clyde tension before.. like recently. so calm down.   This episode is about Lincoln having a sleep over with Clyde, Liam , and Rusty. No Stella, but Charlie is on video phone because she's there for plot reasons.  There's also a minor plot where Luan is practicing acting to get different roles, and Bobby is coming over to celebrate with Lori the anniversary of their first date. (aww)

One could tell from far away that Clyde seemed from to be automatically bothered  that Charlie was going to be involved from the start  when Lincoln shows his phone to him. (Also dead battery soon) There's also going to be a random plot where Liam seems to be having a crush on Luna because reasons and oh Luna needs to work on a country song, because reasons, so hmm I wonder.

Anyway  Bobby shows up and he's really more interested in the sleepover than his girlfriend. Whilst the sleepover goes on you see that Clyde is getting more annoyed that Charlie is there, unphysically, and that she seems to be taking up Lincoln's time versus him. (Also cutting about 1pt for a few things so...) I'm not fan of that part of this episode because Clyde should have really just told Lincoln but instead un, he'll do something else. He gets annoyed that Lincoln and Charlie have broken the record they have together in some box racing thing, that he decides to find a new best friend, just like that.

Luna bumps into Liam and he finds out that she's working on a country song and is stuck, one of Liam's sayings have helped her. (Good thing she asked if she could use the words) Later, she calls up Liam to help her some more, and Liam's crush continues.

I will say that Lola being there to help Clyde added a fun role to the thing.   I also think the friend group dynamic seems to be a little different in this series version versus the animated, where they seem to be less a group in dynamic than there.  Clyde  has picked Bobby to be his friend and Lori is annoyed that Bobby isn't focused on her. There's a lot of not being focused on me this episode. (me!)  I also have enjoyed Luan's different roles in this episode, she plays grizzled old man pretty good.  There are some fun nuggets in this episode.

Bobby goes to find Lori and apologizes and he tells her  he never really had a sleepover before and well Lori feels guilty now. Lincoln tries to talk to Clyde, but that goes bad and he ends up just making Rusty his new best friend.  Zach and Rusty should be more annoyed by how this all goes. Eventually, they do and Lincoln and Clyde make up.

Liam tries to confess his love to Luna  and that ends quickly. (That plotline was useless.) Lori decides to hold a sleepover for Bobby to have him experience the fun.   Luan pretends to Mark Twain I think, and yeah things seem to have gone well.

I think this episode was kind of  weak. It's a very simple it would have been better if Clyde talked about his feelings with Lincoln or if the episode did something more creative than this. Luan's parts were very fun, the Bobby parts were alright, I enjoyed the little moments between and Rusty and Zach. I also enjoyed Liam's part too. They made him as sweet as he is in the animated series.  This is episode wasn't the best, it wasn't awful, so I give it 6.8/10.

That's it for now, tune in next time when we have a sleepover with a prospector and read Huck Finn.
