The Casgrandes: Season 3: Episode 17: The Wurst Job/ The Sound of Meddle

 The Casagrandes Nickelodeon

 Episode 17a:  The Wurst Job

There was a Loud House episode that had to do with interning pre teens because that happens , I guess. The start of the episode gets it right out of the gate to just have the teacher use it as an excuse to go to an island vacation for a week. (I'm guessing Ronnie Anne's school is rich)  Ronnie Anne wants to work at Bruno's hot dog cart because it's easy or something.  She is able to convince him.

There's also a hot dog eating contest coming up, but let's save that for later. Ronnie Anne finds out there's a 6AM (tune in next time when she finds out there's an 11PM) It's a Ronnie Anne finds out doing hot dog stuff is harder and much more work than she thought plot.  It's also fun to see what some of Ronnie Anne's other classmates are doing like Sid is working with the inflatable thing in front of the Casagrande family store (odd), and Sameer working with Vito doing whatever a Vito does.

The next time is the hot dog eating contest and Ronnie Anne doesn't want to do this anymore after she has a nightmare that Vito eats her. (You should have watched the episode, there's better context to what's being said.) She decides to fake that Bobby broke his arm and can't work today.

The hot dog contest has Bruno working it, while there's Maybelle (she just competes in things), Hector, some how the inflatable thing, and surprise Vito, who's known as the greatest competitive eater.  Anyway, Bruno hasn't been able to keep up and Ronnie Anne decides to help and there we go, competitive eating.

This city sucks, the inflatable thing wins the contest because they allowed that, but thankfully it explodes and it's not the winner.  Ronnie Anne helps Bruno at the end some more and he made her a hotdog called the Ronnie Annie. (I'm going to eat Ronnie Anne)

The episode is basic and serviceable not bad, not grand. It's going with the weirdness the show's been doing  and there's some atmosphere.   I think it was pretty fun to see Ronnie Anne having a solo episode, meaning focused on her and not a team up thing, it's been awhile.  I'm also glad it didn't end with the inflatable thing winning, that would have ruined it , I feel. I give it at 7/10.

Episode 17b: The Sound of Meddle

This episode is a simple Carl plot and not executed to be interesting. Carl wants something (to be DJ recognized)  he finds something to use to get that goal (Using Alexis and the school band performing at the city team's soccer match half time show)  and that blowing up in his face and the other's and Carl having to make up for it, and then everything ends well for all. That's the episode.

Which does make it kind of weak one to watch because it's just that, it's not bad because of Carl, it's bad because of how it uses Carl and it's something we've seen before, when there's been more interesting Carl plots, even in this season.  Alexis is fine, he's the happy eternal pureness for the episode.

I do like that Carl wasn't just able to sneak into the band using cunning, he had use an instrument and be in the band, that was good.  My enjoyment of it wasn't strong because I've seen this series do better plots with him that are somewhat more engaging.  Though they didn't resist using Serigo as part of the scheme it wasn't too much to make something not as better.

There's not much else for me to add about this episode, there are some funny parts, but yeah I feel it's a weak offering. I give it 6/10.
