The Loud House Nickelodeon
Episode 3a: Flip This Flip
Remember , Flipmas Carol, where in the past Flip missed his chance to be with a girl named Tammy Gobblesworth? Well, Pepperidge Farm remembers and this episode is about Flip still missing his middle school dream girl. He tells Lincoln and Lana about this (along with Lana speaking to Racoon, who works for Flip now, what?) and they encourage him to call her. She answers the phone, but he gets nervous and Lincoln pretends to be Flip and sets up a date for her.
The next day, Flip shows up at the Loud House, and Lincoln, Lana, Lola, Leni, Lola, and Lisa help him get ready for this date. (minus 0.5pts for seeing Flip's nasty foot) It's pretty fun to see them all help Flip. Though he needs more help and the Loud siblings help him out.
The Louds make sure Flip doesn't fail at this date, you'll see through the episode that they are trying to make sure Flip doesn't act too much like Flip ,but it doesn't work. When he falls into a tuba at the opera. He thinks he failed at impressing her with class, but she's happy that Flip is acting like the guy she knew and shows that she's not glitz and glam. (kind of gross)
The episode ends grossly, but sweet, I guess, like Leni says. I'll give the episode that, it's alright. It is another episode that goes you shouldn't change someone to have them make it, but it works to show that Tammy isn't also a over the top snob and down to Earth. I hope this gives Flip a happy love story. I'll give it 7/10.
Episode 3b: Haunted House Call
Lucy and her mortician club friends (yes) are going around to raise money for casket-con, which is a thing. (Caskets are a con, because you can only use them when you are dead) Anyway.... Mr. Grouse has a problem, there's a ghost haunting Mr. Grouse's house. Yes, the ghost is real (Alright, I'm gonna head out now, this post is over!)
The mortician club summons a spirit and she possesses Boris' body and she's only haunting Mr. Grouse because it was her house and wants him to change his décor. They figure out that problem and decide to go into ghost business. There's even a cheesy jingle they made for an ad.
They go around solving ghost business like Rusty's dad and a mad ghost who's mad he's not buried in a tux, and Liam is being a haunted by his Grandma's prized donkey. (what?) At Cheryl and Merryl's house they need help with a ghost who keeps changing their channel. How many people keep dying at home in this town? (Also, I heard the line "I use bra pads too" I mean oh) This ghost wants to finish up his show. (He's out of luck with Days of Our Lives, he'll be around for a long time)
Then, they aren't getting ghost calls and they need more, so they think hey here's a stupid idea: summon a ghost because they need more money. (greedy) This prankster ghost goes around and bothers Scoots at their behest. After they get him, their plan was stupid after all as he decides to haunt more. (Wow I wonder how this stupid plan was stupid)
Thankfully getting him was easy, because their investment in that idea was as much as my investment in that idea was, they can't get to Casket-Con, but they do get to see a new casket model. (not sure why anyone would need a floating casket, but) Hey the episode is over.
This is...eh fine. I mean , they want do real ghosts which is something again. I'm not going to say show has to be fully "grounded" but it seems when it started that should be the ground rules, it's strange to add "ghosts are real now" when you enter your fifth now sixth season. It's not like "The Ghost and Molly McGree" where the supernatural thing exists at the start, it's more like oh, ok then. The plot is mostly alright, to an extent, the friends working to get money works. Yeah I give it 7/10.
That's it for now, tune in next time, when the ghostbusters start a turf war with Lucy and her friends.
